Our last day on Duke Street was one to remember

13.07.19

Closing our Brighton shop after 2 years was not something we were looking forward to but as usual our customers did us proud. We went into the shop this morning with a little trepidation, it was a scorcher outside and it would have been so tempting for everyone to head for the beach. Our last day in Brighton could have been depressing but instead it was a celebration of everything we have achieved. We had a fabulous day and left with a smile on our faces. Our tenure of Duke Street may have come to an end but Vinyl Revolution heads into the future with the best customers in the World and that gives us a great deal of confidence. See you all very soon!

When your favourite musician walks in the door of your shop

21.06.19

You might also have seen Del Amitri listed on our website as my favourite band. It was a very quiet day early this week when I looked up to see the side profile of a familiar face looking through the vintage vinyl. I was not hallucinating, Justin Currie really was in the shop!

This is what Rolling Stone have just written about Bailen's new album - "Thrilled To Be Here is an LP steeped in classic rock and 20th century references: it’s impossible not to hear echoes of CS&N and Fleetwood Mac in their gloriously yelled harmonies, with strains of TLC and Destiny’s Child.” Bailen will be playing live in-store on Thursday 9th May at 6pm and we can't wait!!!
