Our last day on Duke Street was one to remember

Closing our Brighton shop after 2 years was not something we were looking forward to but as usual our customers did us proud.

We went into the shop this morning with a little trepidation, it was a scorcher outside and it would have been so tempting for everyone to head for the beach.  Our last day in Brighton could have been depressing but instead it was a celebration of everything we have achieved.  We had a fabulous day and left with a smile on our faces.

Montezuma's delivered chocolates, Honest Burgers brought us lunch and our customers came with wine, champagne, smiles, hugs and stories.  Some had come a hell of a long way to support us and every person walking in the door meant so much!

THANK YOU to everyone who came in today (and earlier this week).   You have clambered on trains, buses and driven all the way from Norfolk, Berkshire, Hertforshire, East Kent and the far reaches of Essex.  It was beyond the call of duty, we love you for it and will never forget it.

Our tenure of Duke Street may have come to an end but Vinyl Revolution heads into the future with the best customers in the World and that gives us a great deal of confidence.  See you all very soon!

Here are some photos of a few of today's customers (new and old).  Sorry if you didn't make it into the rogues gallery, you are no less important!
