The Charlatans return with a triumphant and euphoric collection of blissed out pop songs. Following 2015's excellent Modern Nature, Tim Burgess leads his dextrous cohorts through another mix of indie pop and soul. Hey Sunrise and Solutions set the scene perfectly as the opening salvo of tunes, the album akin to watching the sun rise on a new day after a big night out on the town.
As with Modern Nature there are no weak tracks on Different Days but other highlights are the expansive title track and There Will Be Chances which is simply one of the best songs the band has ever wrtitten-an aspiring Indian mantra/indie pop classic.
A perfect album for a perfect summer...Vinyl Revolution album of the week!
